    • Network Security CSCI 6541: Review of cryptographic/finite field mathematics. Public key cryptography, hash functions, digital signatures, security in local, WAN, and wireless networks, packet-level communication security protocols,  firewalls; network authentication protocols, secure network applications: secure E-mail and web operations.
    • Computer Network Defence CSCI 6542: Review of offensive and defensive information warfare operations. Simulation of various attacks on and defenses of computer systems. Laws related to information warfare. History and literature related to information warfare attacks.
